Withdrawal of Service

From Friday, 01 September, 2017, we will no longer offer a Savings Account service. Our Internet Banking service, in addition to any Electron or Link card you hold with us, will be withdrawn on 28 April 2017, as a result you will not be able to use your card or access Internet Banking after this date.

We need you to close your Savings Account with us before close of business 01 September 2017 and to transfer your savings to another financial services provider.

Please note that on closing your account we will return your money to you, we will also withdraw your access to both Internet Banking and stop the use of your Electron or Link card (if applicable).  It is therefore important that you choose an alternative banking provider before you close your account.



You can close your account in several easy ways.

  1. Complete the ‘Account Closing Form’ enclosed within this letter and return it in the pre-paid envelope to confirm you want to close your account. 
  2. Call us on 01236 766 851: our Customer Contact Centre will then assist you to close your account.
  3. Pop into one of our branches: Coatbridge and Bellshill before Friday, 28 April 17, or to our Airdrie branch.



Remember, the choice of a new financial services provider is entirely yours.
