Transfer of Loans

Please note that our secured lending will be transferred to TSB in May 2017.  We have now closed to new applications.

During the course of January 2017 we will be writing to all of our secured lending customers to advise of the details of the transfer of your Airdrie Savings Bank Secured Lending.  In the interim, we have set out below key information in relation to the transfer.

This information is relevant to, and will affect, the following account types:

  • Secured Term Loan
  • Mortgage
  • Buy to Let

Your secured lending will be transferred to TSB in May 2017.

You do not need to take any action; we will be in touch with further details in April 2017. Please be assured that your secured lending will be transferred to TSB, on its existing Terms and Conditions. 

Please note that customers with a Residential Buy-to-Let product will now receive statements annually instead of quarterly.


The Whistletree Brand

Whistletree is a trading name of TSB Bank plc. Your secured lending will be managed by TSB’s Whistletree brand. You’ll notice the Whistletree name on the communications that you receive from TSB, and, when you call TSB in the future, you will be talking to the Whistletree team.


Your usual monthly payment

You should continue to repay your secured lending as you do under your existing agreement. We will continue to manage your secured lending product until the transfer to TSB in May 2017.  So, until then, please direct all enquiries to our team here at ASB.

You will receive a welcome pack from TSB to confirm the date your secured lending will begin to be managed by them.  This welcome pack will include all the necessary details you require to manage your product.
